WILMINGTON – Ralph A. Sordellini, 86, passed away peacefully at Lower Cape Fear Hospice on Sept. 14, 2016. He has gone to join his beloved wife of 62 years, Rosemarie, who passed away in October 2015.
Born on March 11, 1930, in New York, New York, he was the son of the late Ed and Rose Sordellini. He enjoyed a 38 year career with Kraft Foods. He enjoyed spending time with his extended family, playing golf and traveling, especially to Italy.
He is survived by his children Meg Black (Evan), Joann Sordellini, Pat Wozniak (Luke) and Ed Sordellini; grandchildren Christine Wozniak, Georgette Sordellini, Casey Wozniak, Jack Sordellini and Tucker Sordellini; his sister, Ann Cavallo; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, at St. Mark Catholic Church, 1011 Eastwood Road, Wilmington, NC 28403.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16, 2016 at Andrews Valley Chapel; 4108 S. College Road, Wilmington, NC 28412.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation, 1414 Physicians Dr, Wilmington, NC 28401.
