CASTLE HAYNE – Michael West Miller, 61, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016.
Mr. Miller was born in Lenoir County, North Carolina, the fifth child of 10 children born to Earl and Ruby Kornegay Miller. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; brothers Allen Miller, Harold Miller, Milton Miller, Tommy Miller, and Faison Miller; and his sisters Faye Baysden, Connie Buffkin, Rose Martin and Sharon Grunden.
He was a devote member of Castle Hayne Baptist Church. His greatest love, other then Jesus, family, friends and pets, was managing Little Orchid Farm.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, 2016, at Castle Hayne Baptist Church, 4535 Parmele 28429. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
