CAROLINA BEACH — Luther “Luke” Justin Epps, 36, of Carolina Beach, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Charlotte, NC, on March 10, 1980, to the late Luther Heath and Brenda Campbell.
He was an avid surfer and assistant manager at Bert’s Surf Shop. He also enjoyed watching Carolina Panthers football and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Turner Epps; grandmother, Hilda Heath; many aunts, uncles and cousins and his beloved lab, Fisher.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, at Andrews Valley Chapel, 4108 South College Rd., Wilmington.
