WILMINGTON — Toni Newcomb Furgurson Moore, 47, of Wilmington, peacefully passed on Nov. 7, 2016, as she was surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Toni was born January 14, 1969, to Anthony Newcomb and the late Sylvia Ganey, in Danville, Va.
Toni wanted everyone to celebrate her life, especially those she has left behind: her son Zach Furgurson, daughter Syndi Furgurson, Daddy, “Big Tony” Newcomb and step mama Nancy, Sisters Tracy “Tra” Newcomb, Nikki Collins and husband David, nephew Tommy Lee, nieces Alyssa and Kendra Watlington, Step Daddy Bebo, Uncle Doug, Brother in law Brother Unc, God Mother Joanne Neighbors, and grand nephew baby Tommy Lee, and many other family and friends, too many to list. Please know, you all have a special place in her heart.
Toni is preceded in death by her Mama Sylvia; Granny Susie; brother Joseph Anthony; step brothers Scotty and Sammy Loftis; step sister Janice Collins.
A celebration of Toni’s life will be at noon Saturday at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel, located at 1535 S. 41st Street with a reception to follow.
No flowers, gifts in Toni’s memory may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
