Brad was born April 29, 1983, at New Hanover Hospital and was the son of Lawrence “Jerry” Benton, and wife, Pauline, of the home and Toni Nickel Benton of Supply.

His family was very proud of not only the father, son and brother Brad was, but also for the bravery and determination with which he faced the many hardships and health challenges in his 33 years. The family extends a special word of gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at Cypress Pointe for their care-giving.

To remember and celebrate Brad, a family visitation will be held Monday Nov. 21, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Dr., Shallotte. A service of death and resurrection to be held at Sharon UMC on Tuesday, Nov. 22, at 11 a.m. An internment will follow at the Silent Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Reed Garcia, Nick Caison, Austin “A BOY” Robbins, Mark Hewett, Ethan Clewis and Jason Haigler.
