

Tommy Ray Lanier passed away peacefully on Nov. 20, 2016.
He is survived by his mother, Frances Lanier; uncle, H.T. Morris; soulmate of many years, Carol Morgan; and stepdaughter, Rebecca Morgan; his very good friend, Kyle “Kyleson” Coston; uncle, Benny “Tump” Lanier; aunt, Jean Lanier and family; sister-in-law, Barbara Lanier Baker, and her children, Nicole, Jennifer and Nick, as well as James Aaron and many grandnieces and grandnephews. Tommy was preceded in death by his brother, Toby Lanier, and father, Tom Lanier. He had many special friends that were like family, including Keith Hales and countless more.
Tommy’s perfect day was spent riding his motorcycle, playing with his kitties and drinking Port City Java coffee.
A celebration of his life will be at his favorite place, Greenfield Transmission, located at 1002 S. 16th St., Wilmington, NC, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26. Food will be provided. Please bring pictures and memories.
