WILMINGTON — Murial K. Calhoun, 98, of Wilmington, N.C., passed away on Nov. 28, 2016. She was born on May 30, 1918, in Bristol, England.
She attended the Academy of Arts in England for six years. She spent many years enjoying life on the waters of Wrightsville Beach.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alford Earl Calhoun.
She is survived by her daughter, Gay Kathleen Wilson of Wilmington; son, Michael Andrew Calhoun, and his wife, Yamileth Arana, of Wilmington; granddaughter, Celeste Wilson; grandsons, Isaac Wilson and Christian Michael Lisle of Bowie, Md.; and step-granddaughter, Maria Jose Carvajal of Wilmington.
Arrangements are still pending and will be announced at a late date.
