BOILING SPRING LAKES — Lorraine Egan “Pat” Gibson, 92, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016. Mrs. Gibson was born Sept. 7, 1924, in Syracuse, N.Y., the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Egan.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, The Red Hat Society and the Boiling Spring Lakes Community Center. Mrs. Gibson retired in 1992 from Syracuse Savings Bank, where she worked for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold James Gibson; brother, James Egan; and sister, Evelyn Brown.
Survivors include her son, Gary Gibson, and his wife, Marianne, of Lafayette, N.Y.; daughter, Georgann Purtell, and her husband, Craig, of Boiling Spring Lakes; and 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Trent Watts officiating. Burial will follow in New York at a later date.
