LELAND — Bobby Ray Benton Jr., 52, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, at his residence.
Born on September 3, 1964, in New Hanover County, he was the son Lelia Pritchard Benton and the late Bobby Ray Benton Sr.
Bobby enjoyed fishing and crocheting.
He is survived by his mother, Lelia Benton of Leland, N.C., two brothers; Richard Franklin Benton, and his spouse, George Smoak, of Charleston, S.C., Rodney Wayne Benton, and his wife, Wynette of Winnabow, N.C., and two sisters, Sharon and Jeff Stewart and Sandy and Jim McCrea, all of Leland.
