

WILMINGTON – Donald Tressler Kutz of Wilmington, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016.
He was born on June 26, 1931, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, son of the late Roland Kutz and Lorraine Carter.
He is preceded in death by his daughters, Donna K. Lane and Lori K. West.
Mr. Kutz proudly served 22 years in the U.S. Air Force, 22 years with the U.S. Postal Service and 19 years with USA Parking at ILM Airport. Anyone who knew him, knew that he loved going to Walmart and hanging out at the bowling alley.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret S. Kutz; his daughter, Pamela K. Valle (husband, Mark); his sons, Kevin R Kutz (wife, Dawn), and Christopher D, Kutz (wife, San).
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jason and Jeremy Lane, Eva and Rachel Valle, Michaela and Laura Bishop, Courtney and Cory Kutz; a son-in-law, Larry T. West; nieces and nephews in Pensylvania; and close friends and neighbors. Also, he will always be loved by his best friend and constant companion, Sissy.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016, at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service.
A Full Military Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, at Oleander Memorial Gardens, 306 Bradley Drive, Wilmington, NC 28409.
