WILMINGTON — Brian Keith Iddings, 49, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017. Brian was born in Gainesville, Fla., to the late William and Shirley Iddings.
He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Teresa Langford and Sue Harris.
Surviving Brian are his loving and faithful fiancée, Sondra Brink; beloved daughter, Katie Iddings of Wilmington; brothers J. Mark Iddings of Wilmington and William C. Iddings Jr. of Belleview, Fla.; sisters, Henrietta Petty of Callahan, Fla., Sarah Case of Michigan, and Brenda Franks of Canton, Texas.
Brian was a huge Florida Gators fan. He loved everything and anything that had to do with his sporting teams. If he wasn’t involved with the Gator’s, he was hunting, fishing, cooking or watching NASCAR.
His heart went to his daughter Katie, whom he loved unconditionally. Brian had the ultimate personality and loved to make people laugh. His sense of humor was so infectious that even if you weren’t in the mood to laugh, it was impossible to leave him without a smile.
To know Brian was to love him and all who knew him will remember him for his wittiness and his charm. He lived life to the fullest and although he is gone from our presence, he will remain in our hearts until we meet again.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation.
