WILMINGTON — William James ‘Bill’ Davis, 68, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at Britthaven Northchase.

He was born on Feb. 3, 1949, in Middletown, N.Y., the son of the late Howard LeRoy Davis Sr. and Doris Angel Davis.

Bill is survived by his sister, Janet Halprin, and her husband, Gary, of Hurleyville, N.Y.; and his brother, Howard Davis Jr., and his wife, Marie, of Maryland.

Bill was an active member of The Moose Lodge for 36 years. Additionally, as a member of All Saints Anglican Parish in Wilmington, Bill used his wonderful baritone voice to contribute to the choir. Always quick with a joke, he will also be remembered for his sharp wit and keen sense of humor.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 2, at All Saints Anglican Parish with the Rev. David W. Haines officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to All Saints Anglican Parish, 2623 N. College Road, Wilmington, NC 28405.
