

WILMINGTON — Natalie Carroll Ehlert, 84, formerly of Westfield, N.J., passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
She was born on Aug. 27, 1932, in Elizabeth, N.J., the daughter of the late Robert Emmet Long and the late Natalie Carroll Long.
Natalie was a Realtor and worked in the real estate business.
She is survived by her daughters, Allison Wark, and her husband, Jeff, Heidi Mazzocco, and her husband, Chris, and Judy Doyle all of Wilmington; grandchildren Robert Doyle, and his wife, Brandi, of Virginia, Ally Mazzocco, C.J. Mazzocco and Justin Wark, all of Wilmington; four great-grandchildren; brother, Bob Long, and his wife, Angela, of Palm City, Fla.; sister, Jean Long Ostrow of New York, N.Y.; and sister-in-law, Cathy Long.
Together with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Eddy Ehlert of Bethelem, Pa.; and brother, Walter Long of Summit, N.J.
The family will receive friends at a visitation to be held from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 11, at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel 1535 S. 41st St., Wilmington. A service to celebrate Natalie’s life will follow at noon with the Rev. Robert Lapp officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the New Hanover Animal Humane Society in memory of Natalie would be greatly appreciated.
