SHALLOTTE — Joanna Stanley Jones, 55, died Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at her home.
Joanna was born in Brunswick County April 6, 1961, and was the daughter of Joseph Elridge Stanley and Jan Beck Stanley. Mrs. Jones and her husband Dean owned and operated Brunswick Towing and Auto Repair.
She is survived by her mother, Jan Stanley of Shallotte; her husband, Dean Jones of the home; two children, Jennifer Faircloth, and her husband, Steven, of Shallotte and Bobby Dean Jones of Shallotte; three grandchildren, Brooklyn, Jade and Aiden; two brothers, Joey Stanley, and his wife, Rebekah, of Shallotte, and Jeff Stanley, and his wife, Liz, of Shallotte; and sister, Jamie Trull, and her husband, Stephen, of Shallotte.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 26, at Jennies Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Vann officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home.
