

WILMINGTON — David Bellm, 81, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at home. David was born Aug. 26, 1935, in England.
In the early years, David was a cowboy in Alberta and then became a chicken farmer with his new bride, Angela, in British Columbia.
He eventually moved to New York state and managed the family business, Delagar Products, for 42 years, before retiring to Wilmington. David loved sailing on Lake Champlain, spending time with his golden retrievers and enjoyed serving on the Cape’s ACC for eight years.
He will be deeply missed by his entire family.
David is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Angela; five children, John, Stephen and Sarah (Darrell) of Wilmington, N.C., Mark (Diane) of Taupo, New Zealand, and Liz of Chazy, N.Y.; and nine grandchildren, Jordan, Jonathan, Ethan, Nicholas, Christina, Jason, Jaya, Luke and Kashi.
A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, April 21, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
