CAROLINA BEACH — Karen Lynn Labanec, 61, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington.
She was the wife of Stephen F. Labanec. Born Jan. 1, 1956, in Massapequa, Long Island, N.Y., she was the daughter of Frederick and Delores (Shultise) Albright.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen; and two daughters, Sarah Points of Wilmington and Chelsea Bullock of Castle Hayne. She was the grandmother of Winter Points and sister of Frederick Albright Jr., of Massapequa, N.Y.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 29, at Andrews Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Road, Wilmington.
