Everette H. ‘Heath’ Spencer, 50, enjoyed his time on North Carolina beaches

Everette H. ‘Heath’ Spencer

WILMINGTON — Everette H. ‘Heath’ Spencer, 50, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice. He was born Sept. 23, 1966, in Wilmington, the son of the late Edward Everette Spencer Jr. and Brenda Jones Spencer.

Heath loved spending time on the beaches of North Carolina and could be found fishing or outdoors in his spare time. He was devoted to his family, their time was often spent having oyster roasts together and catching up with one another.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving fianceé, Amy Spann; son, Cameron Spencer, and his wife, Samantha; daughters, Kacy Spencer and Shelbie Spencer; stepsons, Jesse Spann and Troy Spann; stepdaughter, Amy Irvin; grandchildren, Keith, Mikaila, Carter, Amy ‘Sunshine’ and David; brother, Timothy Scott Spencer, and his wife, Jennifer; nieces, Whitney and Sydney; nephews, Nicholas and Anthony; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 10, at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home, Wilmington Chapel.

Flowers are welcomed, or memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
