WILMINGTON — Hattie Mae Weaver, 99, of Wilmington passed away on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 at Davis Health Care.
Mrs. Weaver was born on Aug. 15, 1917 in Fairmont, NC to the late Austin and Hattie Bridgeman. She is also preceded in death by her husband Rufus Weaver Sr.; two daughters, Myrtle Constantineau and Hattie Wernecki; grandson, Matthew Weaver; granddaughter, Marie Holland; two daughters-in-law, Bonnie Weaver and Frances Weaver; and seven siblings.
She is survived by three sons, Lonnie C. Weaver (Jackie), Thomas Howard Weaver (Mary) and Rufus Henry Weaver, Jr. (Traci); daughter, Sharon Lawson; as well as many dear grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016 at Andrews Mortuary Market Street. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016 at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. Burial will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens.
