SUNSET BEACH — John Robert Bleakley, 79, of Sunset Beach, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
John was a proud Navy veteran and was retired from the heating and air business.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dolores Doreen Bleakley; three children, Robert Bleakley, John Bleakley and Jean Goncalez; and other extended family members.
Memorial services will be held later in his hometown in New York.
