WILMINGTON — Michael Lenahan quietly departed this life on Tuesday, Oct 11, 2016, surrounded by his loving family at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington, N.C.

Michael lived his faith every day and was generous to all who knew him. He had many friends and was admired, respected and loved by his family and everyone who had the pleasure of being a part of his extended family. He was a role model for his children, grandchildren and many others.
Michael was an avid reader, enjoyed his life in St. James, the beach and was a good-standing member of the infamous “Wetmore Group” of golfing buddies for 15 years. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; his travels with Joan, sharing lots of dinners and conversations with family and friends and never missing the opportunity to smile and share a good laugh. To know Michael was to love Michael. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
