SHALLOTTE — Lloyd Earl “Moe” Milliken II, 55, passed away Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, at Carolina East Medical Center, New Bern, N.C.
He was born on June 24, 1961, in Brunswick County the son of Geraldine Gore Milliken of Ocean Isle Beach and the late, Lloyd Earl Milliken Sr. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Keith Milliken and Bradley Milliken.
Lloyd was a member of Jennies Branch Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and employed by NC Plumbing Solutions of New Port.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his daughter, Melissa Milliken of Shallotte; sister, Renee Pope, and her husband, Ruggles, of Wilmington; two nieces, Somer and Nicole; and three nephews, Josh, Ryan and Elijah.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, at Jennies Branch Baptist Church. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.
