

WILMINGTON — Dana Michelle Wilson, 18, passed away Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at Southeastern Regional Hospital in Lumberton, N.C. She was born on Sept. 24, 1998, to parents Teddi Ann Wilson, 46, and Gregory Clark Wilson, 46.
Dana was the most beautiful, sweetest, smartest girl who had a bright future ahead of her. She was attending University of North Carolina at Charlotte as a biology major in the hopes of becoming a pharmacist. Dana was an amazing sister, daughter and friend.
She loved Ryan with all of her heart and soul and over the years Ryan became a part of Dana’s family on a deep level that will be truly missed.
Dana is survived by her mother, Teddi Ann Wilson; father, Gregory Clark Wilson, and his wife, Shannon Wilson, of New Bern, N.C.; two brothers, Gregory Clark Wilson Jr., 15, and William Price Wilson, 14, of Wilmington; grandparents Peter and Christine Esposito of Charlotte, N.C., and Michael Wilson of New Bern, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Kay Wilson of New Bern, N.C.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at Andrews Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Road, Wilmington. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Oleander Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Mark Tippett officiating. There will be a time of fellowship and food where we can honor and remember them together from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Dana Michelle Wilson Memorial Fund to help cover funeral expenses.
