Francesca Lamanna,85, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, Feb 12, 2017, at the Hospice Care Center. Born on Feb. 16, 1931, to Antonio and Catherina Aidala, she can now celebrate her 86th birthday along with them in heaven.
She is survived by her loving husband, Erminio Lamanna, with whom she shared her life and was happily married for 65 years. She was a loving and supportive mother to her three sons, Robert, Richard and Ronald Lamanna and a loving and devoted grandmother to Robb Lamanna Jr., Victoria Newman, Domonique Mas Lamanna and Dina Lamanna. She was a great-grandmother to Kalina Mas Lamanna and Lincoln Everett Newman, for which she shared a love that was limitless.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Road Wilmington.
