WILMINGTON — James Robert Dawkins, 89, passed away Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Jewell Payne Dawkins.
He is survived by his sons James Jr. (Paige), Arthur and Lee (MaDonna); grandchildren, Dustin, Daniel, Garrett and Olivia.
Jim was laid to rest in Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte.
