LELAND — Horace Leon ‘Junior’ Gore Jr., 53, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Feb. 20, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his father, Horace Leon Gore Sr.; sister, Susan Gore; and brothers, Garland Gore and Donnie Thurston.
He is survived by his mother, Carol Gore Cooke of Mt. Gilead; sisters, Lynn Gore, and her fiancée, Emmanuel Fortune, Gloria Gore, and her husband, James Croom, all of Leland, and Crystal Gore Macker of Delaware; brothers, Bliss Gore, and his wife, Temika, and Charles Clark, all of Leland; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at the Village Road Chapel. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Life of Victory Everlasting Ministry, 1444 Lanvale Road, Leland.
