KURE BEACH — Linda DeJong Euler, 78, passed away peacefully at home with her family Sunday, March 12, 2017. The daughter of Micky and Edna DeJong, she grew up in New York City and the surrounding area.
Linda joins her beloved husband and best friend for 58 years, Richard, but leaves behind her three children, Mark, Bruce and Elizabeth, and their spouses, Sharon, Michele and Mark; and her pride and joy, her grandchildren, Samantha, Sara, Erick, Haley, Andrea, Cassandra, Britton and Brooke. She is also survived by her brother, Phillip; and brother-in-law, Stephen, and his wife, Valeria.
Linda had a love for her family, friends and always put others before herself. Her strength was inspirational and her positive outlook and fierce independence never kept her down and will be missed and forever admired by those who knew her.
She had a love for animals and had requested, in lieu of flowers, that a donation to your local animal shelter be made in her name.
The family will be hosting a celebration of her life from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 18, at their home.
