SHALLOTTE — Donnie Ray Reynolds, 62, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017, at his residence, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Charlotte, N.C., June 15, 1954, the son of the late Thomas Rufus Reynolds and Ollie Gailes Reynolds and brother to Danny and Ralph.
Donnie was a former member of the Breakfast Club in Charlotte. He was a very hard worker. He was a fisherman who loved to cook and be with his family.
Surviving are two daughters, Candice, and her children, Karim and Lilly, and Ashley and her children, Hailey and Serenity; longtime companion of 20 years, Linda Cherry Collins of Shallotte; two sisters, Tommie and Sylvia of Charlotte; several nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Wayne Lamb of Shallotte.
At the request of the family, services will be held at a later date.
