During the wee morning hours of Monday, April 10, 2017, Claudia Ethel Aaron-Sneed, 74, left this world peacefully to start a new life in eternity with her parents and four-legged redheads who went before her.

Claudia was born Aug. 23, 1942, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, daughter of the late Claude H. Gray and Gertrude V. Gray.

She is survived by a son, Steven Lee Aaron; daughter, Laura Aaron TerBeek; grandchildren, Sean Mitchell Aaron, Brianne Aaron Perrone and Amanda Paige TerBeek; two sisters, Michele Alayne Nimmo (Gord) and Patricia Anne Blakely; and five nephews and one niece.

Those who knew Claudia knew her passion for her Irish Setters. Her dedication to the breed was ever abundant … her beloved setters earned many titles in the confirmation and obedience show rings in the U.S. and Canada. You can best believe there’s a lot of tail wagging happening now!

Besides her love for her dogs, Claudia was a woman of many talents. She worked as an accountant and was a certified instructor of various software applications. In her “spare” time, she enjoyed painting, playing the guitar and watching her favorite hockey team, the Carolina Hurricanes.

The family would like to thank all the staff of Woodbury Wellness Center for their compassion shown to Claudia during her time there.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in her native country of Canada.
