CAROLINA BEACH — Monika Theresa Beeker, 56, died Thursday, April 6, 2017.
Monika was born in Guilford, N.C., to Walter and Louise Efird on Aug. 18, 1960. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Efird.
Monika is survived by her mother, Louise Koelbl Efird of High Point, N.C.; husband, Stephen Beeker of Carolina Beach; daughter, Waverly D. Jones of Asheville, N.C.; sons, Destyn C., Brandon K. and Jensyn W. E. Beeker, all of Carolina Beach; and stepson, James S. Beeker III of Brooklyn, N.Y.
A visitation will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation, Wilmington Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m.
