Karen Lynn Mayo was called by our Lord to be reunited with her loved ones in their heavenly home Monday, April 17, 2017.

Karen was welcomed into this life April 20, 1959, by her parents, Carole A. (Burkett) and Walter H. Seeman Jr. Her early years were spent in Swanton, Ohio, surrounded by bountiful farm country. She then journeyed to beautiful coastal Maine, and after her first glimpse of the ocean, she was hooked on the beach life.

She spent several years enjoying everything that Maine had to offer. Her next adventure moved her to gorgeous Southport, N.C., where she found her love, Bubba (Leslie Allen) Tucker, to share the beach life with. Karen enjoyed crafting, decorating, gardening, cooking and photography. She loved her job at Brunswick Pest Control, working with the very best work-family that anyone could ever ask for.

Karen is survived by her sister, Pam Kellogg, and her husband, John; brothers, Walt Seeman, and his wife, Margie, and Doug, and his wife, Cecilia; niece and nephews, and their families; and countless friends, old and new, who touched her life and her heart along the way.

In lieu of services and flowers, Karen asked that memorial contributions be made to the following organizations to show her appreciation for everything they do: New Hope Clinic, 201 W. Boiling Spring Road, Southport, NC 28461; the Southport/Oak Island Interchurch Food Pantry, 249 W. Boiling Spring Road, Southport, NC 28461; and Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.

Please remember to live every moment, laugh every day and love beyond words.
