SHALLOTTE – Ora Ann Mintz, 93, of Ash passed away Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Ash, North Carolina, on Dec. 22, 1922, to the late Joseph Harvey Milligan and Dora White Milligan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several siblings.
Surviving are her son, Bryant Lloyd Mintz Jr. (Patricia Ann) of Ash; daughters, Georgia Ann Hughes (David) of Aiken, South Carolina, and Martha Pait (Terry) of Ash; sisters, Gladys Russ of Shallotte and Faye Hefelfinger of Wrightsville Beach; 10 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, in the Chapel of Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Entombment will be in Brunswick Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
