James Lawrence, 83, passed away at his home Friday, May 19, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dee, who he deeply loved.
He is survived by his four children, Jesse Lawrence, Lori Lawrence, Steven Lawrence and Colleen Johns; brother, John Lawrence; and seven grandchildren.
Jim served in the U.S. Air Force for four years, after which he pursued a business career and spent many years building successful companies, where he was loved and respected by all. “He may not have always been right, but he was never wrong.” He loved his mother, he loved his wife, he loved his children and grandchildren, he loved his country, but most of all, he loved God.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 22, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church with Father Michael officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Oleander Gardens.
