SHALLOTTE — Angela “Angie” Williamson Long, 62, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017, at the SECU Hospice House of Brunswick in Bolivia, N.C.
She was born Nov. 12, 1954, in Tacoma, Wash., the daughter of Wilfred and Nina Swain Williamson of Shallotte. Angela was a member of First Baptist Church of Shallotte.
Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Marvin J. Long Jr. of the home; son, Chris Long of Supply; daughter, Stephanie Babson, and her fiancée’, Alex Cupernall of Boiling Spring; sister, Cathy Williamson of Shallotte; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, May 22, at First Baptist Church of Shallotte with Pastor Bob Weathers officiating.
Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
