“There’s a time to say goodbye”
There’s a time to say goodbye
The reason why we don’t know
We just know that God decided it
was time for you to get your wings
and fly.
We’ll miss our little talks and the comfort of your soft gentle hand
We’ll try to dry our eyes and trade our pain
Instead we’ll rejoice and be happy knowing you’re in the promised land.
So now that you’re in heaven as promised everything is greater
We’ll continue to fulfill your wishes here on earth and we’ll keep in mind
This isn’t goodbye it’s just I’ll see you later.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 26, in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington.
