WILMINGTON – Gerald “Jerry” Edney of Wilmington passed away Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016. He was 67.
Mr. Edney and his wife were successful real estate brokers and owned and operated Boardwalk Properties in Wilmington.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Edney; two daughters, Brittany Edney and Ashley Edney; brother, Maurice Edney of Aurora, Colorado; sister, Wanda Holland of Hampton, Virginia; his 5-pound overweight chihuahua “Taco Bella” and his “grand doguer” miniature Yorkie, ”Winnie Waffles.”
The family will visit with friends from 11 a.m. to noon on Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, with a celebration of life ceremony to follow immediately at The Pentecostals of Wilmington, 3615 Chippenham Drive, Wilmington.
