WILMINGTON — Mrs. Jean Kenmore Yenner, 90, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 2, 2017. She was born Jan. 8, 1926, in Trenton, N.J., to Eugene J. Kenmore and Louisa May Pickering Kenmore, both deceased.
She is survived by her husband, Harry W. Yenner of the home; daughter, Diann Burkhardt, and her husband, Gerald, of Carolina Beach; son, Wayne Yenner of Wilmington; and five grandchildren, Whitney Yenner of Leland, Christopher Burkhardt and Julie Burkhardt, both of Charleston, S.C., and Jason Burkhardt and Courtney Burkhardt, both of Wilmington; and two great-grandchildren, Axton Burkhardt and Kimbrel Lunsford.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Shawn Blackwelder officiating. Burial will follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens.
